JEP CAST (Japanese Entertainment/Johnny’s Entertainment Podcast) is a podcast where four girls hilariously discuss the ins and outs of Johnny’s Jimusho (also known by fans as Johnny’s Entertainment or JE for short) which is a Japanese talent agency of male pop stars. Each episode covers a week’s worth of news from both the debuted groups (SMAP, Arashi, Hey!Say!JUMP, etc.) and Johnny’s Juniors. ▪ Hanayome to Papa, 1-4 ▪ This drama "is like, a family-romance-comedy...three genres smushed into one!" ▪ Oppressive dad? No, just protective. ▪ "The core of this drama is the father-daughter romance" OH MY GOD NO PLEASE "relationship" is what she meant. ▪ Peyton-sensei summarises the first four episodes. ▪ Ishihara and Taguchi together are just "a bundle of cute"! ▪ "He's eating her weiner!" ▪ Taguchi's ability to overact fits really well with this type of drama. ▪ "Really what we're trying to say is that Junno works really well with comedies." ▪ Ishihara in ths is adorable, flaliling, stumbling, stuttering, trying to grow. ♥ ▪ She is also very dynamic. *_* ▪ Aiko is the girl who hasn't grown up yet, in a bubble she can't get out of. ▪ No boyfriends~ curfew at seven~ OH MAN, HOW RELATABLE IS THIS. ▪ Aiko's relationship with her father is heavily reliant on him being a widower, and she an only child. ▪ Comparison and contrast between Hanayome to Papa and Yasuko to Kenji. ▪ Aiko is totally uke. ▪ for next week, we're watching Hanayome to Papa, 5-8!
