What is your impression of Nakayama Yuma w/ B.I. Shadow's Nakayama Yuma?
Horseface. You hate him. Then you watch Battery. Then you fall in love with him.
It's an inevitable process.

Oh my gosh! You're right! I could never place what was so stange about his face....and now I know xD;

Maybe here's a basis for V6 doing an Asian Tour. The issue about V6 having to wait for 7 years is about the last time they went to Taiwan in 2001 and they had been popular back then (actually, the last Kamisen MV was debuted in MTV Taiwan), they had also attended taiwanese tv shows and etc. I think they had a few concerts there as V6 as a whole or only Kamisen. As for the Korean fanbase (they're fairly visible in naver - the korean site), the significant history V6 being in Korea was in 2002 when V6 made a collaboration with Shoo of S.E.S. (an ex-group of SM Entertainment) during the "Feel you Breeze/one feat Shoo" single - it had a Korean version which has English and Korean versions. Inocchi and Shoo was also in a butai that had both japanese and korean influences leading V6 to have projects with SM Entertainment like when Inocchi appeared in the MV (korean, though they also had japanese releases) of S.E.S' "Just a Feelin'" and V6 being the (only???) JE group to attend SM Town's annual (winter/christmas) DREAM CONCERT for 2002. ---- phew. that was a long explanation, hope you consider my point :)

My thoughts on Yuma....

At first I wasn't happy that he got the role in Koishite Akuma because I really don't know much about the younger johnnys. However, since I've been watching him on the show, I really like him. I find him absolutely adorable. He is a bit of a coward, but that is just another part of his charm.

Still listening to the podcast...

Isn't the guy Yamapi called on Waratte Iitomo the guy from the tofu shop where Akira lives in Nobuta?
08 20 09 (UTC)
Yeah on the drama pick. Hanayome To Papa is my favorite. Love the thought of rewatching it with you guys.
08 20 09 (UTC)
Essentially, I hadn't been paying much attention to the Jrs., so I knew nothing about Yuma at first. Then when they debuted, I looked back on old clips and realized they'd been pimping him for a while now. My thoughts are that essentially he's a secret gigantic dork like the rest of them, and needs to show it more often, because he looks a bit weird when he's trying to be cool. It's easy to like the kid after you watch him for a little bit.

You're going to watch Hanayome to Papa? YES!! I just recently finished watching that and was surprised that I liked it so much. Can't wait to hear your thoughts!

thoughts of Yuma?!! hmmmm..!
i love him!
it was in Hey! Say! JUMP's first con that i first saw him but i fell in love with him in Battery! he was so cool there though it is a bit obvious that he is a newbie in terms of acting!
his singing voice is too low for a 15-year-old boy! he sounds like in his 20s compared to Yama-chan and Chinen Yuuri! XD
he's a big scaredy-cat!
he's adorable too! he was so nice especially to his kouhai, Kochi Yuugo!
he learned the choreography of Lalalila of B. I. Shadow so that he will be able to teach Yuugo its dance steps! (here's a translation: Yuma is kochi's big brother )
to make things short, he's also lovable like his seniors!

forgive me if my comment is too long!
08 24 09 (UTC) - nakayama yuma w/ b.i.shadow
Impression of Nakayama Yuma w/ B.I.Shadow:
At first my friends and I were very suprised about such a young debuting group and not very fancy of them, because we do not really like Hey!Say!Jump that much and didn't really hear about the group members before.
Well, I made the mistake to watch Koishite Akuma and liked Yuma from the first moment he was seen xD But the worst thing was that the ending song really caught my attention, which is akuma na koi, their single. Since weeks now I'm listening to this song nonstop and so fell in love with it >_<
I didn't expect to like a kid who is only 15, but his voice is very deep for his age and the song quite fits to it. I also want to mention that in my opinion it's the best debut song a Johnny group ever had. I so do love the melody and the arrangements of the instruments.
All in all I must say I was very positivly suprised about this group and their first song and I hope to get more nice work of them =)

I actually played the letter segment of this clip for my mom! >.< And hugged her.
